Hunting: I have a couple of questions about gun conversion kits? My frist question is; If people use conversion kits to save money an ammo, how cold they get used to shooting the proper sized ammo from the gun, I mean, ist that the whole point of practicing anyway #2- is 22LR the only thing pistols can be converted too #3- In certain states they take a fired shell casing and bullet from the gun your purchase for ballistic purposes, wouldnt the conversion defeat the purpose of this since it changes the barrel?
Pine needle bed for survival in hunting? My father never took me hunting so I don't know what works and what doesn't. I am trying to get my hunting survival kit down to manageble size. Everyone rolls their eyes when I mention I carry a tent and sleeping bag. I am told to carry a tarp and five heavy duty extra large garbage bags. Where I would hunt is all pine tree forest with a lot of pine needles on the forest floor. I am told to pack the garbage bags with pine needles, and sleep under them. Does this actually work, or will I die of hypothermia?
Anyone know of some good apartment hunting tools, such a pre-made spreadsheets & such? I'm looking at apartments and was hoping to find some pre-made tools like excel spreadsheets and the like that could help save me some time & get myself organized. I figure mostly I want amenities listed & the apartment names, etc. Any helpful info & links will be greatly appreciated. I guess, beginners kit for apartment hunting would be good :) Thanks!
Did you know that there are Dog DNA test kits now available? I have viewed many photos of our Yahoo families lovely animals asking what breeds we think they are. I've recenly learned that we can easily answer theses questions ourselves. You can Google Dog DNA Analysis and explore the many avenues to find out exactly what Fido is made of:) Happy Hunting!

What is the law regarding carrying a hunting knife? A group of us are going trekking through wales in a few weeks, and we will be fishing etc. I have a 5" sheathed knife with the whole camping kit built in, compass, matches, everything, and will be using it to gut fish etc. Is it legal to carry it on my person? It will be in my backpack the majority of the time. Thanks for any advice :-)
I want to make my Hunting Kit, Fossil Fuel Free and Environmentally Friendly, anyone know about these cookers? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_kettle "Kelly Kettle, Storm Kettle, Thermette and Volcano Kettle are names given to a design of outdoor water-boiling device. These kettles are for use in the outdoors, and are constructed of a double-walled chimney that is filled with water. The water is heated as fire and heat are directed up the chimney. The idea of a kettle that places the water around the outside of the heat source is shared with the older samovars, tea urns from Eastern, Central, and Southeastern Europe, as well as the Middle East. This funnelling of heat and flames up a central flue also uses the same principles as rocket stoves. The increased surface contact area maximises thermal transfer, leading to faster boiling, while the upward chimney draft effect provides for more efficient use of fuel, and enables operation in windy or wet weather. During World War II such an improvised design was called a Benghazi boiler." Would these work in the terrain of the Angeles National Forest in South California? (Vertical terrain, 10,000 foot peaks, Pine tree forests) Eddie I am trying to get away from processed fuels.
Where can I find Kit Kat bunnies in Melbourne? Hey guys, I'm on the hunt for Kit Kat bunnies! I first found them last year at Novo Pharmacy, but this year, they seem to have disappeared. My sister and I love these chocolate bunnies, but we can't seem to find them anywhere. Does anybody know where to find Kit Kat bunnies in Melbourne? I would be really grateful.
Does the kit fox appear in native american myths? I'm doing an essay on the kit fox and i need to know if it was a part of native american legends and myths. I already googled it, but didn't really find anything. Also, did the native americans hunt the kit fox and eat the meat or use its fur? thx.
Mounting kits for ram horns? Does anyone know where/if I can purchase a mounting kit for ram horns? I am going to be hunting Dall/Corsican rams in the near future, and want to mount the horns (I don't want a head/body mount or anything fancy like that). Obviously, there are a ton of mounting kits for deer antlers...but I see none for rams. Thanks!
What is a really good archery kit for a beginner? I'm completely new to this, I'm just curious as to what a really good (quality) archery kit, for a beginner would be? Its not for hunting or anything, just recreation. Price isn't a major issue, so recommend anything.
why do cats' "chatter" when they're stalking/hunting? I hope that's the right word? I'm referring to that back of the throat sort of clicking/clucking sound. It;s always struck me as very odd, I realize that in the animal kingdom every action, sound et al an animal makes has a specific purpose to their existence but i am and have been completely baffled with this and my arianna kit-Kitts refuses to enlighten me
ok i need a cheap survival/hunting knife? ok i am only 16 and no job, so im just getting a starter hunting survival knife, like in the 25 dollar range so please no "they all suck, you need to spend more, or just save up more" but any who, i need some help picking between these knifes 1)http://cgi.ebay.com/SURVIVAL-KNIFE-12-w-Kit-saw-compass-rambo-hunting_W0QQitemZ300295453581QQihZ020QQcategoryZ42576QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713.m153.l1262 i like it because it looks like rambo's knife 2)http://cgi.ebay.com/SURVIVAL-KNIFE-w-Kit-Compass-10-Army-Bayonet-Blade-Sil_W0QQitemZ290296716806QQihZ019QQcategoryZ20271QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713.m153.l1262 it is a little smaller then the rest, but i like how it comes with a pouch for a stone, along with the stone 3)http://cgi.ebay.com/MARINE-COMBAT-KNIFE-Black-USMC-survival-trench-fighting_W0QQitemZ300294259322QQihZ020QQcategoryZ42577QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713.m153.l1262 it doesn't have a kit or a saw, but i still like it 4)http://cgi.ebay.com/MARINE-COMBAT-KNIFE-Black-USMC-survival-trench-fighting_W0QQitemZ290296964413QQihZ019QQcategoryZ42577QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713.m153.l1262 i think its the same as the third but with a saw 5)http://cgi.ebay.com/Army-RANGER-COMBAT-Survival-Throwing-Knife-Black_W0QQitemZ300294887870QQihZ020QQcategoryZ42576QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713.m153.l1262 i like this one becease it can be thrown, but when will i throw a knife at a animal? 6)http://cgi.ebay.com/NECK-KNIFE-Survival-Combat-Boot-Neck-Knife-w-gut-hook_W0QQitemZ290292609166QQihZ019QQcategoryZ3204QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713.m153.l1262 not really to big of it, but it has a good price and its small so anyway what do you all think, id like you hear your opion thanks ok like i said, i need something, cheap once i get a job ill be getting a real hunting knife, so no put downs, they hurt my feelings :'(
Do you think JayFeather, LionBlaze, and HollyLeaf are the kits of Crowfeather and Leafpool? *SPOILERS* ok i know leafpool is the medecine cat but HollyLeaf, JayFeather, and LionBlaze are the 3 of the prophecy. They are FireStar's kin and the only other kin FireStar has in the clan is SquirrelFlight, LeafPool, CloudTail, and Whitewing. SquirrelFlight conffessed not being their mother WhiteWing and CloudTail are all whitefurred so they would be whitefurred aswell cant be the sons and daughter of SandStorm and FireStar because well then they wouldnt let SquirrelFlight lie like that and when the leader has kits the entire clan knows, so the only choice really could be LeafPool and Crowfeather unless they arent the kin of FireStars kin and JayFeather got lucky so he can see other cats paws and LionBlaze is just an amazing fighter, and HollyLeaf is I forgot her power i think its either hunting or it could also be fighting. Also who else thinks SquirrelFlight killed AshFur.
What can I hunt with a 100 pound crossbow? It is 100 pound crossbow, not a pistol, and it shoots 7 inch bolts. Also it has the fishing kit on it, how do you think that weight would do with fish? And any tips for crossbow hunting or fishing would be great, thanks!
has any one here ever built a browning 1919? I've been seeing lots of the kits for sale. You need to buy a side plate to build one semi auto. Just out of curiosity, has anyone done it. How complicated was it. What was the hardest part of the build. Would you do it over again. They aren't very practical for anything, but they would draw some attention at the range. I know this has nothing to do with hunting, but the hunting section seems to be a catch all for firearms questions. I have no intentions of ever building one, just curious.
does anybody know any good sites i can buy a bad ass robot from? i want something that has a camera and can hold stuff so like if i want a soda i can drive it to the soda and get it. i don't care if i have to build it or its cost. but i don't want to have to go part hunting. like some sort of kit or something. or hell pre-made. please i know that its somewhere i just have no idea where.
What is the best first aid kit for a SHTF bag? Already have water purifcation, fire, food and protection covered. What about a straight up first aid kit? Looking for something that is light because my bag is getting heavy. Don't need/want a mobile hospital. Posting this in hunting because I know you guys know what a SHTF bag is.
Hunting equipment for Washington state? This will be my second year hunting in my state of Washington. I just want to insure myself that I am not taking too much (or even too little) hunting equipment on my hunt. Obviously I carry my rifle... I also have extra bullets, binoculars, knife, hunting outfit, gloves, boots, small survival kit, a few snacks, human cover scent, doe estrus and a backpack. That's about all I can think of at the moment. Is there anything else that I have not listed that I should consider taking with me on my hunt? Thank you in advance!
What items should be in a hunters survival kit? Serious woodsman or woodswomen only? I ask only because I keep maintain and use my survival kit on a regular basis. The most dangerous hunts I do are hound hunts where I wait for fresh snow and head for the highest altitude I can drive to then hike in on foot. Also these hunts are done at night. I have spent many nights in the cold looking for my hounds and making my way back to my truck. Anyways I recently looked online for a list of items and could not find anyone who had a good list. The reason I say this is either they have way to much to carry, or not enough to survive, and lastly not one single kit contained toilet paper. Not one! I don't go in the woods with out TP. I call it mountain money. All kidding aside though, what is in your backpack and what activity do you participate in that requires you to have such a kit? Can you carry your bag comfortably over miles of rough country with no roads or trails? I have found that my pack has evolved over the years and varies slightly from season to season. Oregon hunter
Hunting Pellet For Walther Falcon Hunter .25? Hi, I have a Walther Falcon Hunter .25 Pellet rifle, what pellet would be best for hunting and get the most foot pounds energy possible from the gun, be accurate enough to place the projectile where it needs to be and just be awesome the whole kit and caboodle , penetration, knock down power, accuracy but basically to get the most power from the gun not the fastest speed but most power from the gun to send the fur flying!
What is the most accurate home drug test? I'm going job hunting this weekend and want to make sure that I'm clean before I actually apply anywhere. Which home drug testing kit should I buy if I want to accurately check for THC in my urine? Most places in my area require a urine analysis at a lab. Wolfy, you are dumb. Need I say more?
Bow and arrow kits? I have been thinking about getting a bow and arrow. I am 17 years old, but I am 6 feet tall. (if this matters at all.) The bow and arrow will not be used for hunting, only for recreational purposes only. What kind of bow and arrow set should I get? Do they come in different lengths?
Hunting Rifle Question? Alright... Here's the crackdown: I'm 14 years old, and over this coming summer, I'm going to get a job so that next deer season, I can afford to buy myself my rifle, ammunition, and other various hunting gear? Can anyone tell me what kind of rifle would be good for deer hunting? I only like .270 rifles, and I would prefer it to have a wooden stock, and be very reliable/accurate. Price isn't too much of a factor, just as long as it doesn't take my dad's life insurance policy to afford it! Any help would be very appreciated. Also, what kind of cleaning kit would be the best and what kind of hunting backpack would hold a lot of my gear? Thanks... -Garrett
Is a Thompson Center Thunderhawk a good starter gun? My husband is some what of a gun enthusiast but has never shot muzzleloader. A friend's relative has this gun with 209 shotgun primer conversion kit for sale for $100. I was debating it as a Christmas gift, but I am not sure it would be the right way to go. The gun would be used for deer hunting. Any advice? Is $100.00 a good price?
do cats play when we're not around? If an adult cat is alone in a room, will it start pouncing, hunting its toys, etc, or is this behaviour for our benefit? Obviously, a mother cat will teach her kits to hunt through play, but I was just watching the cat flip out around the living room, and started wondering if she would do that if I wasn't sitting here.
Rough Country lift kits? Lift kits? Im new to lift kits and off roading but am a beginner willing to learn and take advice. I want to off road in my truck but the truck is also my everyday truck. Im not gonna be going crazy and totally screwing up my truck and dinging it up. IT has stocks suspension, shocks. I want to lift it about 4-6 inches. I also dont want to pay out the wazzooo for it because I dont have $2000 to spend on a lift. I dont want a body lift or anything. What lift kit is best for me; 1995 Chevy silverado 2500 gas 4by4 5.7 33in tires (no lift currently, body or suspension) Ive heard all sorts of lifts and they all look different and all are different prices. What are the different lifts all about?(shackle, block, suspension???) Which on ewould be best for my truck and best fo rwhat I want to do? I hunt and carry stuff in the bed so im a little concerned with a giant 6 inch lift with the fear of having to lift a 200 pound animal into the crazy high truck. My ideal height would be around 4 to 5 inches. Im also on a tight budget, i dont have $2000 to go blow on a suspension lift. My ideal range would be around $300-$600.(but lets stay as low as we can :) help would be greatly appreciated

Hunting handgun questions? I have a few questions about the handgun I recently purchased. I don't know much about it, and most info that I'm looking for is elusive to me, so any help is great. I start by saying that I purchased a L.A.R. Grizzly Mark I with a 6.5" barrel chambered for the .45 Winchester Magnum. It is dual-tone, with the slide being blued and the frame being satin silver. There is an earlier factory compensator installed on this unit from what I understand. It has no box, one magazine, and factory grips. The bluing on the slide is wearing off on the sharp corners and along the edges where the slide meets the frame. it still locks up like a bank vault, the action is extremely smooth, with a capital E, and the magazine seems to have a spring loaded ejector for some reason (it kicks out the magazine when you press the mag release), and I paid $995 with tax, so a grand total of $1,083.56. Here are my questions: 1: Was this a good price based on how I have described the firearm in question? 2: There are numerous conversion kits that were made by the manufacturer (if you don't know the brand, L.A.R. Grizzly stopped making the pistols after 1999). I was wondering if the 9 mm Winchester Magnum could fire 9 mm Luger, or a cheaper 9 mm round. 3: Does anyone know what kind of accuracy these can get? I heard of a guy who took a white tail at 140 yards from a stand with this thing and it just dropped, but that just sounds like a lucky shot more than what the actual capability of the firearm is. 4: Here is a list of the conversion kits that I know about: 9 mm Winchester Magnum .45 ACP .357 Magnum .357/45 WMG 10 mm auto .38 Super Out of all these conversions, what would you get and why? (I'm thinking of getting the .45 ACP for home defense, and maybe the .357 for plinking) Thank you for your time. Lone Wolf
Is this a good book project? In my English class, we had to read a book and do an 'out of the box' project about it and were given no further instruction. I read the book Dracula by Bram Stoker and was thinking of making a vampire-hunting kit, since that is the whole point of the book. Is that out of the box enough? (I'm not really creative or good at these projects at all and would like a second opinion) Thanks!
Anyone that does Out Door Stuff Help. (hunting, boating, fishing, survival)? I am 17, and i am leaving home so i can live out in Canada. When i say this i realy me out there. What acceseries do I need to start muzzleloader hunting? I'm going on a whitetail muzzleloader hunt this fall. I think I've settled on a gun (Muzzleloader conversion barrel for my Mossberg 500 shotgun), but I have no idea what else I need. Bullet starters? Powder or pellets? Sabots or balls with size/brand/weight recommendations? Cleaning supplies that I don't have in a standard shotgun cleaning kit? Whatever else I don't know that I need yet? I just don't want to get to the gun store and get sold things I don't need. At this point I don't plan on BP hunting much, prob just a couple days in the field a year so I just need basics, and the less expensive the better. Thanks all for your help.
What tools are in your backpack/hunting bag? Most people I know carry a backpack with them while hunting/hiking, I'm no different (lol, guys and their tools right?). What's in yours? Mine: Loaded extra mag Hatchet Multi-tool Knife Sierra Saw Fire steel Entrenching tool First aid kit (bandages, gauze, tape, ointments, etc) Hat light Small sharpening stone Can of Chef Boyardee Spork Metal cup Tarp Small wool blanket 2L water Oh yeah, and: 550 cord Flask of Bourbon Yeah, it kinda sucks having to lug all that stuff around but I live in a pretty populated area. So if I want to do some serious hunting (far from hacks, and douches in Ghillie suits who think they are snipers/Rambo) I have to hike pretty deep and far.
A homemade Monster Hunters Kit? Help me put together a "monster Hunting Kit" for my 8yr old's Christmas Present? My 8yr old sons favorite show is Monster Quest and he wants to be a monster hunter himself. Christmas is very tight this year so I wanted to give him the one thing he has been asking for over and over again. Sadly I couldn't find a ready made kit online anywhere. I want to get him a backpack and fill it with equipment he can use to hunt for "monsters". Any ideas? I am at a loss for what to put in it please help.
I wonder what team the glory-hunting Americans are going to cheer for now? Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka on the same team, I'm going to see a lot of Real Madrid jersies at my school next year. FQ: What kits do you see the most when you are in public/school/anywhere? @Romanis: I rooted for Barcelona in 06-07, with no knowledge of what Champions League was, and Barcelona didn't even win anything that season. I'm not switching. At my school, it's all Man U and Chelsea. A few Barcelona, Liverpool, and Arsenal jersies though. I think I've seen one Milan, Inter, Roma, Juventus jersey. National teams, France, Brazil, Portual, Italy, Argentina, USA, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, and Mexico. My school is crazy for Cristiano Ronaldo, it's ridiculous. In public, I've seen alot of Serie A jersies and some Mexican ones in the NoVA area. @ yahoo: don't use that word here. That offends me. Jugadors, (clap, clap, clap) seguidors, (clap, clap, clap) tots units fem força. Without even looking at the lyrics(I added the accents for authenticity). I don't go to bars and haven't even gone to one. I don't drink, I'm in high school, I'm not surrounded by any Barcelona fans and if I am, they don't know anything except for the starting XI. I know ALL the players on the team and some on the FC Barcelona Atletic. @MichaelK: I don't think language matters when coming to watching football. There are some faithful fans of Man U I admit, but there are some people who buy jersies for that one reason you pointed out. Where is that jersey going to be in 5 years? In the trash, because they have stepped away from the sport or they root for another team. Another person around the world who is poor could have that jersey instead of the ignorant people I see at my school wearing that stuff (that's what I see in a rich area). A jersey is more than just a shirt. It signifies that you are a true fan of one club, so they are expensive. What kind of person owns two or more different jersies (trust me, this was me when I was 12 or 13 years old when I followed American football and basketball)? A bad fan. A jersey/kit doesn't mean you acknowledge soccer, it means you acknowlege that one particular club. If one acknowledges soccer, they should wear cleats to school and bring a soccer ball. Ok guys, I followed Barcelona for my reasons. I went to a missions trip in Ecuador, and the team main team in Guayaquil was Barcelona SC, so I partially root for that team and FC Barcelona. I'm never rooting for another club and if I do, it will be for maritial reasons (my wife wants me too root for another team, I'll root for another team). Otherwise, I'm never turning away from the Culers, they are a big part of my life. I love how they play so well without spending that much money. My scenario on liking Barcelona is that they play with creativity a step above everyone else, and I like how they play. So I like Barcelona because I like to watch them play. Is there a problem with that? No, there isn't, unless I switch teams, then you can call me a glory-hunting bandwagon. I live in America, the only team I can root for is DC United. Really, would you root for a team that's semi-professional or a professional team that has amazing players yet still believe in good morals. @iblade06: actually I can point at the Cristiano Ronaldo fans because he lost to almighty Barcelona. Since he's moving to Madrid, I wonder who they will root for considering their favorite/only player they know on the team is gone. There are going to be no Man U jersies next year and it disappoints me how one spends $70 dollars for a valuable jersey yet it is wasted in a 2 year timespan and another person around the world who is an avid Man U fan but too poor to buy any merchandise of Man U can't have that jersey because of the ignorance my schoolmates have. It also sucks to be the only Barca fan in the school who knows who Gai Assulin, Marc Muniesa, Thiago Alcantara, Oier Olazabal, Henrique, and many other youngsters are because I solely root for Barcelona and root for Barcelona forever. When I mow the lawn, I usually sing El Cant del Barça, maybe because I'm a huge fan.

Having a birthday party, any tips, and where can I buy? I'm going to have a casino night turned murder mystery party where the guests are playing at a casino and then after about an hour or hour and a half of playing, it becomes a murder mystery scavenger hunt. Where can I buy casino felt/tablecloths and games (I've tried every party store and Target, WalMart, Kmart) and murder mystery kits? Also, any tips, and how do I conduct the murder mystery?

Do dowsing rods really work? How do they work? Can they work if u use a wire hanger to make them? Okay so i was suppose to go on a trip but it turns out i couldn't go. So the trip was basically a ghost hunt and i decided i should just go other places but anyways i'm starting to make a ghost hunt kit and my first material were dowsing rods i just made. I used one of the cheap wire hangers and they are the same size and i sanded down the sharp points that can cut you. But the thing is i really don't know how they are used really. I know they cross each other when theres an energy but i wanna know if i made them right. Or if they really work and how they work. Please i would love if someone would be able to help and explain also post a source. It'd be easier if i could have facts and no opinions such as oh those are just b.s. THXXS :))))))))

Has anyone had experience with a Ruger 10/22 gatlin gun kit? I'm looking into building a gatlin gun kit for the farm for golf cart mount for varmint hunting. Has anyone had any experience actually using one of these modified 10/22 gatlin gun kits and really putting it through the paces, or are they just for light use and show-off appeal? The kits can be found here: http://www.bmikarts.com/gatlin-guns.shtml http://gatlingguns.com/indexframeset.html
homemade Bow plans? is there a good site that has homemade hunting bows plans or kits longbow or recurve
Is Sarah Palin really capable of being VP? She is opposed to abortion even in cases of rape and incest (even if victims are children She offered a bounty for each right front leg of freshly killed arctic wolves She is presently under investigation in Alaska for abuse of power She strongly supports drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) She promotes aerial hunting of wolves and bears even though Alaskans voted twice to ban the practice She supports the Alaskan Independence Party which seeks independence from the United States She believes creationism should be taught in schools She believes man-made global warming to be a farce, and intends to do nothing about it when in office She is opposed to listing the polar bear as an endangered species because it may limit oil exploitation, she has even sued the US government twice to take the polar bear off of the endangered species list While mayor of Wasilla she tried to fire the city librarian because the librarian refused to censor books She used $400,000 of state money to fund a campaign ad in support of aerial hunting As mayor of Wasilla she made rape victims pay for their own forensiv evidence kits There are so many things wrong with this picture, I can't see how people find that her abysmal methods would actually make this country better off. The more I learn about this woman, the more I find she is completely uncapable of leading even her own family.

Any mystery party ideas? I'm planning on having a mystery party as a welcome back party for my friends, who are coming back from college. I don't have any money to spend. I'm thinking a murder mystery theme, but I don't know what else to do. I think we'll play mafia and clue, and have a scavenger hunt. What else should I try? I don't want to do those murder mystery kits because they are too expensive. Thanks!
Anyone do any bowfishing? I'd like to get into it. I know they sell kits at Gander Mountain, but I shoot heavier arrows for hunting, (2715's I think) is the fish arrow real light? How well does it fire from a 70lb draw compound? Where should you aim at the fish (above/below) to compensate for visual distortion due to the water? Wasn't sure if I should put this in fishing or hunting. lol.
I've decided to pack a couple of bug-out bags for my wife and me...am I nuts for considering this? You know, just the usual BOB stuff; a change of clothes, underwear, water, rations, and some lightweight camping stuff, like water purification tablets, a good knife each, a mess kit each, blanket each, etc....am I off my rocker, or just sensible? Again, not exactly a hunting category question, but I think I'd get the most sensible answers here...
cross stitch? I am hunting a cross stitch kit or chart with a cat playing with toilet paper. A local craft store in my area had it a couple of years ago and I should have bought it. I can't remember the designer or the name of the design. Any help will be nice. Thanks
What is a good warrior cat name for this kit? I role play warrior cats, and I wasn't sure what to name one of my kits! Here is his description: Gender: Tom Pelt: Golden yellow Eyes: Green Build: Well-rounded and average Personality: This tom isn't always motivated to do what he should, but he's the Clan's very best tracker. He is always lite on his paws, and also very good at sneaking up on others, but not hunting. Yeah, that's all I've got so far. So, could you peeps out there help me out and post a few good warrior cat names to fit his description?

Survival Training and bush craft.? I'm looking for a good camping, survival, and bushcraft websites that anyone can recommend. I want sites that show you how to build kits, best tools and gear to take and what guns to use for different tasks like hunting and signaling. I did a "survival training" search and one of the sites I found was some radical groups website and I don't want to keep stumbling on to crap like that. I hate hate groups (is that a double negative). I'm in the VA, KY, TN area

Family moving to New York -- need ideas? My brother has a new job in NYC and is house hunting in NJ. I wanted to make them some sort of care package/survival kit for their move to a new area (they are from So Cal). What are some useful and fun things I can include for them, especially to introduce them to the new area/lifestyle? I'd also like to make sure there is something for everyone in there, mom, dad, and the kiddo (5yo). Any ideas? I don't have a ton of money (I'd love to get them a membership to a museum, but WOW are they costly). I was eyeballing a TONY subscription, would that be a good thing? Thanks!
Question about firearms:? This seems to be the only place to post this; even though it is not hunting related. I used to get a catalog with build it yourself gun kits in it. I am looking for the catalog or the name (or somewhere to get one) of this particular gun. It had 4 barrels in a square pattern and was not black powder. Any help in appreciated.
So I'm looking for a good multi-purpose hunting/survival knife? Background: Me and some of my friends are planning "A week in the wilderness" with minimal supplies (eg. a good knife, a canteen, first aid kit, etc.) and I've been looking for a knife I could use. I'm looking at a price range of about $200. Some of the features I'd want is like a removable flint in the handle to strike fires, serrated or half-serrated blade, etc. Survival-y stuff =) If you guys have any questions, I'll add it to the details, but I'm looking for suggestions of where I could buy a knife like that, or specific knives you'd like me to look at. Thanks in advance! It doesn't really matter what kind of knife, just as long as it's very functional and not overly expensive

Best 2" - 3" lift kit for 2000 Cherokee (XJ)? Looking for a durable and long-lasting kit to correct the wheel rub I'm experienceing with 31" tires. I'd like to keep the vehicle as close to stock as possible and maintain the current ride quality. Can this be accomplished with an "add-a-leaf" kit or should I go with new leaf packs? This vehicle is my daily driver and I don't intend to do much more than a little off-roading while hunting and stuff. Just looking for a quality lift kit at a reasonable price. Thanks in advance!
Turkey Calls? Has anybody used any of these calls: Lil Deuce Slate Call Hammerin' Crow Call "The Hooter" Owl Call Double D Gold Premium Flex Diaphragm Call These are all in a turkey call kit (From Hunter Specialties) that I bought online. Since this is my first serious attempt at turkey hunting, I just wanted to see if these calls were sufficient.
going camping? tonight/tommorow im going camping with my grandfather. i have all ready assembeled a survival kit with the nescesities, and im really excited. but i have a few questions; should we take a .22 pistol with us in case a racoon decides to enter our camp? it is the first day of resident geese hunting here in PA, and i was wondering, what would be the best way too cook them? should we roast them over the fire? should we fry them in a makeshift pan that i made? do you have any recipies about what to put on them, how long to cook them, or how to prepare them. any ideas for any ways to make an artificial shelter, not just use a tent like he wants too? a lot of input would be appreciated. thanks in advance. its not a campsite, its just woods on my paps property. no one else, will be with us. i just want some way to deal with them. my pap is a light sleeper, and if he hears something and thinks its a racoon getting into something, he can reach for the pistol. he has his liscense, so he knows how to shoot a gun. its not a campsite, its just woods on my paps property. no one else, will be with us. i just want some way to deal with them. my pap is a light sleeper, and if he hears something and thinks its a racoon getting into something, he can reach for the pistol. he has his liscense, so he knows how to shoot a gun.
Project runway 13 yr old Bday Party!? Hey guys; I'm turning 13 and I decided to have a project Runway Birthday, becuase it's my fave show since the first season :] I really have NO CLUE what to do!! I thought everyone would come to my house [about 8 girs]. It would start off pretty fast paced. I'd break them up into teams, and hand each team and index card with a specific sort of "style". Then I would say go and they'd have to do a sort of scavenger hunt to find all of theire materials i.e sewing kits, ect. I'd give them about and hour and a half. I'd be like "tim gunn" and go around crituqing them. After we'd have a fashion show, with like the makeup for the models and such. After we'd go out to dinner at my fave resteraunt [ruby tuesdays]. We'd come home have cappucinno cupcakes ;] and open presents. After we'd go cosmic bowling.. We'd come home watch my fave episode of project runway and then "go to bed" HAHAH NOT! does that sound oober lame?? AHH any suggestions? tasha, stop being rude. Joe d.. wtf?? LOL;; to everyone else; THANKS SO MUCH<3 your all being so helpful!

Hunter Day Pack Suggestions? I am thinking about creating a bussiness that makes packs for field craft, hunting, and other general purposes. One of the things it will contain is a basic/trauma first aid kit. What do you think about this for a small trauma kit? (2) Trauma Pads (1) 4in. X 4yd. Gauze Roll (1) Bandaging Scissors (1) Instant Cold Pack (1) 4in. Ace Bandage ( 2 pairs) Medium sized Nitrile Exam Gloves (4) Providone Iodine Wipes (4) Sting Relief Wipes (2) Wet Ones Singles What are your suggestions for this? Should I also inculude 1 QuikClot? Also, should I replace the instant cold pack with a Water Jel?
Another question for you female warriors...? If you are out in Iraq (or even in the jungles of asia) and you don't get a chance to wash for days, how do you use baby wipes in front of the guys? When my brother comes back from hunting trips, he smells and looks like he has not showered sence he left; dose any of the female soldiers do the same thing? Do they change thier underware often if at tall or do they even wear underwear? Also I am sure you do not carry the same stuff in your toiletry kit like I do in my gym bag; I take it that you cut down to the basics for your rucksack, so what is the basics you carry in your rucks and how much of each? and finaly (for now) is the bdus that women wear the same as the men's? Is there an internet sight I could go to to read up on female military members?
What are the basic necessities for a first-time deer hunter? I went to Cabela's recently and did some research by browsing the sections. I would have to purchase a Remington hunting rifle (probably model 700 with a better quality scope) and correct ammo to pass the hunter ed course to receive a license, but I need to figure out the wear and equipment for wilderness exploring and successful hunting. Please correct the listing with the additional items for a good hunting experience without obstacle and confusion. Camo jacket and pant (thicker for winter, lighter for spring/summer), shooting gloves, hunting boots with outdoor socks, cap or wool hat, expedition compass watch, binocular/spotting scope, camo backpack (e.g. Camelbak Ranger with hydration), large game bag, rope to drag hunted deer, measuring weight and points, knifes for field dressing, ration & instant warming kits, optional gps device, optional digital camera... During the winter, is it wise to wear the bright orange vest and/or cap to warn other hunters nearby? rancy c, LOL. I said "optional" gps, I've seen the expensive brands like Garmin eTrex Vista HCX. I don't mean to list every thing that I intend to buy, just trying to get down to basics. I dunno if a binocular is necessary at all. 1st I pass hunter ed course and practice rifle shooting in hundreds of rounds at outdoors range then I will get hand on it, and I will contact a fellow hunter to join the expedition. It'll take a few months before I'm ready, so it's best to prepare with some experience gained before progressing on to big game (if lucky to win in lottery) in a few years if I stick with it.
No missing link, thats just an ape! Are these creationists lieing just to stay in fantasy land? Introduction The word "hominid" refers to members of the family of humans, Hominidae, which consists of all species on our side of the last common ancestor of humans and living apes. Hominids are included in the superfamily of all apes, the Hominoidea, Hominid or hominin? Some scientists use a broader definition of Hominidae which includes the great apes, and instead call the group I am discussing "hominins". For a good discussion of the hominid/hominin terminology issue, read this article by Lee Berger. the members of which are called hominoids. Although the hominid fossil record is far from complete, and the evidence is often fragmentary, there is enough to give a good outline of the evolutionary history of humans. The time of the split between humans and living apes used to be thought to have occurred 15 to 20 million years ago, or even up to 30 or 40 million years ago. Some apes occurring within that time period, such as Ramapithecus, used to be considered as hominids, and possible ancestors of humans. Later fossil finds indicated that Ramapithecus was more closely related to the orang-utan, and new biochemical evidence indicated that the last common ancestor of hominids and apes occurred between 5 and 10 million years ago, and probably in the lower end of that range (Lewin 1987). Ramapithecus therefore is no longer considered a hominid. The field of science which studies the human fossil record is known as paleoanthropology. It is the intersection of the disciplines of paleontology (the study of ancient lifeforms) and anthropology (the study of humans). Hominid Species The species here are listed roughly in order of appearance in the fossil record (note that this ordering is not meant to represent an evolutionary sequence), except that the robust australopithecines are kept together. Each name consists of a genus name (e.g. Australopithecus, Homo) which is always capitalized, and a specific name (e.g. africanus, erectus) which is always in lower case. Within the text, genus names are often omitted for brevity. Each species has a type specimen which was used to define it. Sahelanthropus tchadensis This species was named in July 2002 from fossils discovered in Chad in Central Africa (Brunet et al. 2002, Wood 2002). It is the oldest known hominid or near-hominid species, dated at between 6 and 7 million years old. This species is known from a nearly complete cranium nicknamed Toumai, and a number of fragmentary lower jaws and teeth. The skull has a very small brain size of approximately 350 cc. It is not known whether it was bipedal. S. tchadensis has many primitive apelike features, such as the small brainsize, along with others, such as the brow ridges and small canine teeth, which are characteristic of later hominids. This mixture, along with the fact that it comes from around the time when the hominids are thought to have diverged from chimpanzees, suggests it is close to the common ancestor of humans and chimpanzees. Orrorin tugenensis This species was named in July 2001 from fossils discovered in western Kenya (Senut et al. 2001). The fossils include fragmentary arm and thigh bones, lower jaws, and teeth and were discovered in deposits that are about 6 million years old. The limb bones are about 1.5 times larger than those of Lucy, and suggest that it was about the size of a female chimpanzee. Its finders have claimed that Orrorin was a human ancestor adapted to both bipedality and tree climbing, and that the australopithecines are an extinct offshoot. Given the fragmentary nature of the remains, other scientists have been skeptical of these claims so far (Aiello and Collard 2001). A later paper (Galik et al. 2004) has found further evidence of bipedality in the fossil femur. Ardipithecus ramidus This species was named in September 1994 (White et al. 1994; Wood 1994). It was originally dated at 4.4 million years, but has since been discovered to far back as 5.8 million years. Most remains are skull fragments. Indirect evidence suggests that it was possibly bipedal, and that some individuals were about 122 cm (4'0") tall. The teeth are intermediate between those of earlier apes and A. afarensis, but one baby tooth is very primitive, resembling a chimpanzee tooth more than any other known hominid tooth. Other fossils found with ramidus indicate that it may have been a forest dweller. This may cause revision of current theories about why hominids became bipedal, which often link bipedalism with a move to a savannah environment. (White and his colleagues have since discovered a ramidus skeleton which is about 45% complete, but have not yet published on it.) More recently, a number of fragmentary fossils discovered between 1997 and 2001, and dating from 5.2 to 5.8 million years old, have been assigned first to a new subspecies, Ardipithecus ramidus kadabba (Haile-Selassie 2001), and then later as a new species, Ardipithecus kadabba (Haile-Selassie et al. 2004). One of these fossils is a toe bone belonging to a bipedal creature, but is a few hundred thousand years younger than the rest of the fossils and so its identification with kadabba is not as firm as the other fossils. Australopithecus anamensis This species was named in August 1995 (Leakey et al. 1995). The material consists of 9 fossils, mostly found in 1994, from Kanapoi in Kenya, and 12 fossils, mostly teeth found in 1988, from Allia Bay in Kenya (Leakey et al. 1995). Anamensis existed between 4.2 and 3.9 million years ago, and has a mixture of primitive features in the skull, and advanced features in the body. The teeth and jaws are very similar to those of older fossil apes. A partial tibia (the larger of the two lower leg bones) is strong evidence of bipedality, and a lower humerus (the upper arm bone) is extremely humanlike. Note that although the skull and skeletal bones are thought to be from the same species, this is not confirmed. Australopithecus afarensis A. afarensis existed between 3.9 and 3.0 million years ago. Afarensis had an apelike face with a low forehead, a bony ridge over the eyes, a flat nose, and no chin. They had protruding jaws with large back teeth. Cranial capacity varied from about 375 to 550 cc. The skull is similar to that of a chimpanzee, except for the more humanlike teeth. The canine teeth are much smaller than those of modern apes, but larger and more pointed than those of humans, and shape of the jaw is between the rectangular shape of apes and the parabolic shape of humans. However their pelvis and leg bones far more closely resemble those of modern man, and leave no doubt that they were bipedal (although adapted to walking rather than running (Leakey 1994)). Their bones show that they were physically very strong. Females were substantially smaller than males, a condition known as sexual dimorphism. Height varied between about 107 cm (3'6") and 152 cm (5'0"). The finger and toe bones are curved and proportionally longer than in humans, but the hands are similar to humans in most other details (Johanson and Edey 1981). Most scientists consider this evidence that afarensis was still partially adapted to climbing in trees, others consider it evolutionary baggage. Kenyanthropus platyops This species was named in 2001 from a partial skull found in Kenya with an unusual mixture of features (Leakey et al. 2001). It is aged about 3.5 million years old. The size of the skull is similar to A. afarensis and A. africanus, and has a large, flat face and small teeth. Australopithecus africanus A. africanus existed between 3 and 2 million years ago. It is similar to afarensis, and was also bipedal, but body size was slightly greater. Brain size may also have been slightly larger, ranging between 420 and 500 cc. This is a little larger than chimp brains (despite a similar body size), but still not advanced in the areas necessary for speech. The back teeth were a little bigger than in afarensis. Although the teeth and jaws of africanus are much larger than those of humans, they are far more similar to human teeth than to those of apes (Johanson and Edey 1981). The shape of the jaw is now fully parabolic, like that of humans, and the size of the canine teeth is further reduced compared to afarensis. Australopithecus garhi This species was named in April 1999 (Asfaw et al. 1999). It is known from a partial skull. The skull differs from previous australopithecine species in the combination of its features, notably the extremely large size of its teeth, especially the rear ones, and a primitive skull morphology. Some nearby skeletal remains may belong to the same species. They show a humanlike ratio of the humerus and femur, but an apelike ratio of the lower and upper arm. (Groves 1999; Culotta 1999) Australopithecus afarensis and africanus, and the other species above, are known as gracile australopithecines, because of their relatively lighter build, especially in the skull and teeth. (Gracile means "slender", and in paleoanthropology is used as an antonym to "robust".) Despite this, they were still more robust than modern humans. Australopithecus aethiopicus A. aethiopicus existed between 2.6 and 2.3 million years ago. This species is known from one major specimen, the Black Skull discovered by Alan Walker, and a few other minor specimens which may belong to the same species. It may be an ancestor of robustus and boisei, but it has a baffling mixture of primitive and advanced traits. The brain size is very small, at 410 cc, and parts of the skull, particularly the hind portions, are very primitive, most resembling afarensis. Other characteristics, like the massiveness of the face, jaws and single tooth found, and the largest sagittal crest in any known hominid, are more reminiscent of A. boisei (Leakey and Lewin 1992). (A sagittal crest is a bony ridge on top of the skull to which chewing muscles attach.) Australopithecus robustus A. robustus had a body similar to that of africanus, but a larger and more robust skull and teeth. It existed between 2 and 1.5 million years ago. The massive face is flat or dished, with no forehead and large brow ridges. It has relatively small front teeth, but massive grinding teeth in a large lower jaw. Most specimens have sagittal crests. Its diet would have been mostly coarse, tough food that needed a lot of chewing. The average brain size is about 530 cc. Bones excavated with robustus skeletons indicate that they may have been used as digging tools. Australopithecus boisei (was Zinjanthropus boisei) A. boisei existed between 2.1 and 1.1 million years ago. It was similar to robustus, but the face and cheek teeth were even more massive, some molars being up to 2 cm across. The brain size is very similar to robustus, about 530 cc. A few experts consider boisei and robustus to be variants of the same species. Australopithecus aethiopicus, robustus and boisei are known as robust australopithecines, because their skulls in particular are more heavily built. They have never been serious candidates for being direct human ancestors. Many authorities now classify them in the genus Paranthropus. Homo habilis H. habilis, "handy man", was so called because of evidence of tools found with its remains. Habilis existed between 2.4 and 1.5 million years ago. It is very similar to australopithecines in many ways. The face is still primitive, but it projects less than in A. africanus. The back teeth are smaller, but still considerably larger than in modern humans. The average brain size, at 650 cc, is considerably larger than in australopithecines. Brain size varies between 500 and 800 cc, overlapping the australopithecines at the low end and H. erectus at the high end. The brain shape is also more humanlike. The bulge of Broca's area, essential for speech, is visible in one habilis brain cast, and indicates it was possibly capable of rudimentary speech. Habilis is thought to have been about 127 cm (5'0") tall, and about 45 kg (100 lb) in weight, although females may have been smaller. Habilis has been a controversial species. Originally, some scientists did not accept its validity, believing that all habilis specimens should be assigned to either the australopithecines or Homo erectus. H. habilis is now fully accepted as a species, but it is widely thought that the 'habilis' specimens have too wide a range of variation for a single species, and that some of the specimens should be placed in one or more other species. One suggested species which is accepted by many scientists is Homo rudolfensis, which would contain fossils such as ER 1470. Homo georgicus This species was named in 2002 to contain fossils found in Dmanisi, Georgia, which seem intermediate between H. habilis and H. erectus. The fossils are about 1.8 million years old, consisting of three partial skulls and three lower jaws. The brain sizes of the skulls vary from 600 to 680 cc. The height, as estimated from a foot bone, would have been about 1.5 m (4'11"). A partial skeleton was also discovered in 2001 but no details are available on it yet. (Vekua et al. 2002, Gabunia et al. 2002) Homo erectus H. erectus existed between 1.8 million and 300,000 years ago. Like habilis, the face has protruding jaws with large molars, no chin, thick brow ridges, and a long low skull, with a brain size varying between 750 and 1225 cc. Early erectus specimens average about 900 cc, while late ones have an average of about 1100 cc (Leakey 1994). The skeleton is more robust than those of modern humans, implying greater strength. Body proportions vary; the Turkana Boy is tall and slender (though still extraordinarily strong), like modern humans from the same area, while the few limb bones found of Peking Man indicate a shorter, sturdier build. Study of the Turkana Boy skeleton indicates that erectus may have been more efficient at walking than modern humans, whose skeletons have had to adapt to allow for the birth of larger-brained infants (Willis 1989). Homo habilis and all the australopithecines are found only in Africa, but erectus was wide-ranging, and has been found in Africa, Asia, and Europe. There is evidence that erectus probably used fire, and their stone tools are more sophisticated than those of habilis. Homo ergaster Some scientists classify some African erectus specimens as belonging to a separate species, Homo ergaster, which differs from the Asian H. erectus fossils in some details of the skull (e.g. the brow ridges differ in shape, and erectus would have a larger brain size). Under this scheme, H. ergaster would include fossils such as the Turkana boy and ER 3733. Homo antecessor Homo antecessor was named in 1977 from fossils found at the Spanish cave site of Atapuerca, dated to at least 780,000 years ago, making them the oldest confirmed European hominids. The mid-facial area of antecessor seems very modern, but other parts of the skull such as the teeth, forehead and browridges are much more primitive. Many scientists are doubtful about the validity of antecessor, partly because its definition is based on a juvenile specimen, and feel it may belong to another species. (Bermudez de Castro et al. 1997; Kunzig 1997, Carbonell et al. 1995) Homo sapiens (archaic) (also Homo heidelbergensis) Archaic forms of Homo sapiens first appear about 500,000 years ago. The term covers a diverse group of skulls which have features of both Homo erectus and modern humans. The brain size is larger than erectus and smaller than most modern humans, averaging about 1200 cc, and the skull is more rounded than in erectus. The skeleton and teeth are usually less robust than erectus, but more robust than modern humans. Many still have large brow ridges and receding foreheads and chins. There is no clear dividing line between late erectus and archaic sapiens, and many fossils between 500,000 and 200,000 years ago are difficult to classify as one or the other. Homo sapiens neanderthalensis (also Homo neanderthalensis) Neandertal (or Neanderthal) man existed between 230,000 and 30,000 years ago. The average brain size is slightly larger than that of modern humans, about 1450 cc, but this is probably correlated with their greater bulk. The brain case however is longer and lower than that of modern humans, with a marked bulge at the back of the skull. Like erectus, they had a protruding jaw and receding forehead. The chin was usually weak. The midfacial area also protrudes, a feature that is not found in erectus or sapiens and may be an adaptation to cold. There are other minor anatomical differences from modern humans, the most unusual being some peculiarities of the shoulder blade, and of the pubic bone in the pelvis. Neandertals mostly lived in cold climates, and their body proportions are similar to those of modern cold-adapted peoples: short and solid, with short limbs. Men averaged about 168 cm (5'6") in height. Their bones are thick and heavy, and show signs of powerful muscle attachments. Neandertals would have been extraordinarily strong by modern standards, and their skeletons show that they endured brutally hard lives. A large number of tools and weapons have been found, more advanced than those of Homo erectus. Neandertals were formidable hunters, and are the first people known to have buried their dead, with the oldest known burial site being about 100,000 years old. They are found throughout Europe and the Middle East. Western European Neandertals usually have a more robust form, and are sometimes called "classic Neandertals". Neandertals found elsewhere tend to be less excessively robust. (Trinkaus and Shipman 1992; Trinkaus and Howells 1979; Gore 1996) Homo floresiensis Homo floresiensis was discovered on the Indonesian island of Flores in 2003. Fossils have been discovered from a number of individuals. The most complete fossil is of an adult female about 1 meter tall with a brain size of 417cc. Other fossils indicate that this was a normal size for floresiensis. It is thought that floresiensis is a dwarf form of Homo erectus - it is not uncommon for dwarf forms of large mammals to evolve on islands. H. floresiensis was fully bipedal, used stone tools and fire, and hunted dwarf elephants also found on the island. (Brown et al. 2004, Morwood et al. 2004, Lahr and Foley 2004) Homo sapiens sapiens (modern) Modern forms of Homo sapiens first appear about 195,000 years ago. Modern humans have an average brain size of about 1350 cc. The forehead rises sharply, eyebrow ridges are very small or more usually absent, the chin is prominent, and the skeleton is very gracile. About 40,000 years ago, with the appearance of the Cro-Magnon culture, tool kits started becoming markedly more sophisticated, using a wider variety of raw materials such as bone and antler, and containing new implements for making clothing, engraving and sculpting. Fine artwork, in the form of decorated tools, beads, ivory carvings of humans and animals, clay figurines, musical instruments, and spectacular cave paintings appeared over the next 20,000 years. (Leakey 1994) Even within the last 100,000 years, the long-term trends towards smaller molars and decreased robustness can be discerned. The face, jaw and teeth of Mesolithic humans (about 10,000 years ago) are about 10% more robust than ours. Upper Paleolithic humans (about 30,000 years ago) are about 20 to 30% more robust than the modern condition in Europe and Asia. These are considered modern humans, although they are sometimes termed "primitive". Interestingly, some modern humans (aboriginal Australians) have tooth sizes more typical of archaic sapiens. The smallest tooth sizes are found in those areas where food-processing techniques have been used for the longest time. This is a probable example of natural selection which has occurred within the last 10,000 years (Brace 1983).
Why are people so against letting cats go outside? I've recently been thinking about what i'm going to do with my kitten. He's 3 months now and will be having the second course of vaccinations next week. What i dont understand is why so many people not only dont let their cats out, but they are completely against it! Before I moved out of my parents house we lived on a farm and had 3 cats, who loved being outside and hunting. In fact when we kept Kit-Cat in for a week when he had health problems he was clearly depressed and wanted out! Obviously there are dangers, but it cant possibly be benificial to keep an animal indoors ALL the time. Otherwise why wouldnt you get a hamster instead?! Maybe I'm wrong, but will someone please explain this to me?! thats fair enough. i want to add that im not against people who dont let them out for valid reasons, and these are all valid reasons. i think im just annoyed at cat owners implying that you must be cruel if you let your cat out. if the cat dont want to see the big world, the cat dont want to go out! lol well my horse is 'domesticated' but i dont keep him in my kitchen! punk_raw i read your link, and i appreciate it, but theres just as much chance of my cat walking over my cooker, finding poisonous stuff etc in my house. there was a point to you replying - your agument just wasnt that great!
what is your opinion of a? night time easter egg hunt, with flashlights.. i saw a kit at targer, but i would make my own of course, my kids are 4 and 6, what would you do??
Ion Electric Drum Kit...? My daughter got an electric drum kit of off her nana for her christmas and when we opened it to build it, the instructions werent there. It said on the box that it included a user guide and we hunted through every box but couldnt find it. Could anyone tell us of a site or tell us the instructions for it please? The make is an Ion Ideo5 USB Digital Drum Kit Thanks
Can someone help me with this? Ok. Well, my parents are house hunting...and they are considering getting a house kit, where WE can build it. (the one we are looking at is about $60,000 for a 5/6 bedroom 3600 square foot 2-story home). Anyways, I was just wondering how long it will take to build it. With just family and friends working on it. (no crew) And, my grandfathers are handymen, my dad is an apartment maintnance man, my uncle is also a handyman, and my uncle by marriage works with electric. And I also wanted to know how much it would cost to build a concrete foundation basement(not a crawlspace or a slab or anything like that)... (By the way, I live in Massachusetts.)
