is there a place to hunt wild hogs for free in texas?

i was wondering if there is a place to hunt wild hogs for free in texas preferably near lubbock but i could drive a couple of hours. i just want to kill them as they are pests

2. Yes that question was asked here a week ago so search YA and contact or view the state DNR web site or state gaming site.
3. State of Texas has public land accessible to hunting, check with the state on land available to hunt those hogs, be advised some of the larger ones will turn on you, I once put 3 - 300 savage 150 grain rounds in one before he caved 4 feet from me. Talk about a rush.
