how do i hunt on oregan trail?

ive been playing Oregon trail, the first version of it i think. but i cant figure out how you get to hunt. and i know you can cuz i remember doing it way back in elementary. so could someone please explain to me how to get to it or give me a link to an Oregon trail game that you can hunt on. ive been using this site.....http://www.virtualapple.org/oregontraildisk.html. its about the only one i could find.
