how to transport deer after a hunt?
do you deer hunters think i can transport a deer in the trunk or a regular compact car? see i normally drive a truck but the truck may be gone soon and replaced with a regular compact car but i think since the seats can be folded down and i will be hunting close by in a local managment area close by with one day hunts i can safely transport the deer body in the back trunk with the seats folded down. what do you guys think? also i will hunt alone so packing will be light and little stuff plus im sure i can fit room with a deer body in the car. thanks guys i love my truck but its getting old and having problems running... sniff sniff trucks are my babies, live to hunt, fish, and camp, live outdoors is what represents me best.

- yeah i throw them in the back of my saturn. just putt cardboard and a bag down
- Apparently so since our new favorite troll tells us all the time how he carries deer out in his Honda Hybrid all of the time.
- Tie it to the front of your hood. (No don't do that)
- No problem, just make sure that you put enough plastic sheeting down to catch the blood, it gets in every part and smells to high heaven after a few days!
- NO A FORD F 150 4 WD IS A MUST WITH A V-8 OK GEESEEE,,,,,,,
- it should do just fine jus make sure you put down some plastic to make sure no blood gets on yur car
- I can transport a deer in a Honda Hybrid. If you can't shove a deer in the trunk of a car, you will be on the cover of a hunting magazine. And I don't clean the deer. I drop it off at a Meat maket/Butcher Shop.
- It can be done but carry a plastic drop sheet and a few old towels so that the excess blood will be adsorbed instead of running down the plastic and getting on the seats and carpet.Wish I had followed that advice when years ago I just went scouting in my wife's new car but carried a gun like I usually do on all trips during hunting season and had an Eight point get up and look at me while I shot. What would you do? I had to shoot, and then after killing him I had to get him home. But It wasn't a pretty sight when I got him home. My wife I mean. You ever see a woman on her period that was killing mad? I'm telling you, it wasn't a pretty sight.Kind of scary in fact.
